• Reclaimed Wood Care & Cleaning
Caring for your new Arcadia Salvage furniture is pretty simple but important. We recommend cleaning with a soft cloth using mild soap and water or a non-wax, non-toxic, and non-caustic like Method Daily Wood Surface Cleaner or Bona and Pallmann Hardwood Floor Cleaners. Spills should be cleaned up immediately and never allow liquids to remain puddled for long periods of time on any wood furniture. Crumbs that accumulate in small cracks and crevices can be removed with an inexpensive soft bristle brush.
Wood is in a constant state of movement. It will naturally shrink and expand throughout each season due to fluctuations in humidity and temperature. Never expose your furniture to sudden or extreme changes in humidity or temperature like storing them in a basement or attic. To avoid seasonal cracks and splits keep the humidity levels between 35% to 45%. Do not place furniture in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
At Arcadia Salvage, we stand behind our products and warrant all reclaimed wood tables, furniture, and decor products to be free from manufacturing defects for the period of one year. All products are to be used for their intended purpose. If warranty service is needed please contact us in writing by email explaining the issue and include pictures. If covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace at our option any faulty product deemed to have been caused by manufacturing defects. Damage due to neglect, normal wear and tear, an act of God, damage from insects, being exposed to extreme fluctuations in humidity and temperature, water damage, surface scratches, self-made repairs, or from misusing our tables, furniture, or decor is not covered under the warranty.
For warranty repairs, the customer is responsible for packaging, delivery, and shipping cost to and from Arcadia Salvage. Arcadia Salvage shall not be held liable for any accidental, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not limited to: any form of loss or damage to any person or entity resulting, directly or indirectly, from the use, or misuse of our tables, furniture, or decor. Customers are responsible for inspecting tables, furniture, or decor before each use to ensure it’s safe to use.
If an issue arises that is not covered under our warranty or is outside of the warranty period. Arcadia Salvage will be glad to repair the item at a cost to the customer. Customers are responsible and will be charged for all repairs and including costs related to repairing and/or replacement of the table, furniture, or decor and all associated packaging, delivery, and shipping cost.
